Vineyard: Szentlászló Vineyard (Bátorove Kosihy, Slovakia), organic farming and biological protection

Soil: loamy clay, loess soil, in some parts sand

Winemaking process: hand – picked, spontaneous fermentation at 23 °C with hand punch – downs, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 225 l hungarian oak barrels, 5 months battonage, another 7 months sur lie, bottled directly from the barrell without filtration or clarification

Aroma and taste: Straw yellow wine. Its varietal characteristics are also evident in this form – in addition to floral notes and tropical fruits, black pepper also appears strongly. The aftertaste has a pleasant tannic bitterness reminding almonds. Precipitation of tartrate crystals or sediment is the result of a natural process; it does not affect the quality of the wine.

Food pairing: ravioli with pumpkin sauce, dates, roasted seeds, exotic spices, cream soups, Asian cuisine, cottage cheese
