Aroma and taste: Dark ruby, almost garnet-colored wine. Forest fruits and sour cherries dominate in the aroma, with notes of black pepper. The taste is full-bodied of soft barrique tone; the walnut aftertaste serves as a pleasant surprise. Overall, the combined taste of cherries and walnut liqueur dominates.

Food pairing: grilled chicken, porcini mushrooms, chocolate desserts, gouda cheese and camembert

Serving temperature: between 13-15 °C

Bottle maturity: 5-6 years
