Classification: Quality semi-dry rosé wine with a protected designation of origin

Wine family: Fresh

Grape variety: Syrah (50%), Blaufränkisch (25%), Saint Laurent (25%)

Sugar content of must: 21,5 °NM

Date of harvest: 25.9.2021

Alcohol by volume: 12,5 %

Residual sugar: 8,4 g/l

Acidity: 7,56 g/l

Vineyard: Szentlászló Vineyard (Bátorove Kosihy, Slovakia), organic farming and biological protection

Soil: loamy, clay, loess soil, in some parts sand

Winemaking process: hand- picked, short maceration, reductive processing, controlled fermentation at lower temperatures, maturation in stainless steels, 3 months on fine lees, one filtration before bottling

Aroma and taste: Wine with red – pinkish colour. Attractive fruity aromas with red berry fruits, which are present also in the taste, complemented by cassis, red grapefruit and a hint of red currant leaves. Playful, juicy wine with higher acidity, which is balanced with residual sugar, ended with a medium – long finish. Precipitation of tartrate crystals is a natural process and doesn’t affect the wine’s quality.

Food pairing: long range of foods, thanks to it’s acidity and residual sugar, it can show a lot of other faces based on the combination with the food – it supports creamy foods, patés, nicely plays with fishes, white meat and a little bit sweet foods (ex. fruit salads), but not with desserts
