Classification: Quality semi-sweet white wine with a protected designation of origin

Wine family: Fresh

Grape variety: Gewürztraminer (80%), Golden Muscat (20%)

Sugar content of must: 23 °NM

Date of harvest: 20.9.2021

Alcohol by volume: 12 %

Residual sugar: 35 g/l

Acidity: 6,67 g/l

Vineyard: Szentlászló Vineyard (Bátorove Kosihy, Slovakia), organic farming and biological protection

Soil: loamy, clay, loess soil, in some parts sand

Winemaking process:hand- picked, short maceration, reductive processing, controlled fermentation at lower temperatures, maturation in stainless steels, 3 months on fine lees, one filtration before bottling

Aroma and taste: Lighter yellow colour, with green reflexes. On the nose very intensive muscat- and jasmin flowers, orange, sloes. Taste by peaches, mango, lichi. Fruity acids easily compensate the higher residual sugar content. Precipitation of tartrate crystals is a natural process and doesn’t affect the wine’s quality.

Food pairing: sweet food, fruity – especially – peach desserts, cheesecake, gelatin cakes and pastries, blue cheese

Serving temperature: between 8 – 10 °C
