Soil: loamy clay, loess soil, in some parts sand
Winemaking process: hand – picked, spontaneous fermentation at 23 °C with hand punch – downs, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 225 l hungarian oak barrels, 5 months battonage, another 7 months sur lie, bottled directly from the barrell without filtration or clarification
Aroma and taste: Straw – yellow, orangeish colour. Aromas of forest honey, wax, thyme. Tastes like ripe yellow fruits, pomelo, wax and honey. Longer aftertaste with smooth tannins, almonds and white pepper. Precipitation of tartrate crystals or sediment is the result of a natural process; it does not affect the quality of the wine.
