Grape variety: Breslava – local grape variety, (Chrupka pink x Gewürztraminer) x St. Maria d’Alcantara)

Sugar content of must: 22 °NM

Date of harvest: 1.10.2021

Alcohol by volume: 13 %

Residual sugar: 8,8 g/l

Acidity: 5,34 g/l

Vineyard: Szentlászló Vineyard (Bátorove Kosihy, Slovakia), organic farming and biological protection

Soil: loamy clay, loess soil, in some parts sand

Winemaking process: hand- picked, short maceration, reductive processing, controlled fermentation at lower temperatures, maturation in stainless steels, 3 months on fine lees, one filtration before bottling.

Aroma and taste: Lighter, greenish-yellow color. Full-bodied and harmonic wine, aroma mainly after elderflower, opens up to spicy notes and rose petals. By tasting passion fruit, pomelo, pineapple, honey. Longer aftertaste with a minimal variety-typical bitterness reminding tea tree leaves. Residual sugar gives roundness and fullness. Precipitation of tartrate crystals is a natural process and doesn’t affect the wine’s quality.

Food pairing: asian kitchen, grilled vegetables, fruit salads, avocado, goat cheese
