Grape variety: Cabernet franc 2019 (33%), Merlot 2019 (33%), Dunaj 2020 (34%) – which is a local crossing of (Muschat Bouchet x Oporto) x Saint Laurent

Sugar content of must: 25 °NM at all the grapetypes

Date of harvest: Cabernet franc 10.10.2019, Merlot 25.9.2019, Dunaj 25.9.2020

Alcohol by volume: 15 %

Residual sugar: 3,1 g/l

Acidity: 5,76 g/l

Vineyard: Szentlászló Vineyard (Bátorove Kosihy, Slovakia), organic farming and biological protection

Soil: loamy, clay, loess soil

Winemaking process:hand – picked, spontaneous fermentation at 23 °C with hand punch – downs, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in 225 l hungarian oak barrels, Cabernet franc and Merlot 22 months sur lie, Dunaj 10 months, blending, bottled without filtration or clarification

Aroma and taste: Fiery nose with aristolochia, wild cherries and plum. Juicy palate with nice acidity, soft tannins, dense texture, bigger body and noblessness with notes of plum cake and chocolate, a hint of cherry. Long aftertaste. Precipitation of tartrate crystals or sediment is the result of a natural process; it does not affect the quality of the wine.

Food pairing: steak, red meat in various ways (best with mushrooms, wine is capablo of pairing with more aromatic ingredients) hard cheese, cocoa desserts, light or middle strong taste cigars

Serving temperature: between 10 – 12 °C
